Self-Operated Edge Delivery Infrastructure (PCDN)
Operated self-managed PCDN infrastructure through Onething Cloud, providing hardware and bandwidth resources for distributed content-delivery workloads.
- Expanded in 2024 to approximately five Onething OES ARM edge devices; each ARM node used up to ~300 Mbps upstream.
- Transitioned from ARM devices to x86-based nodes in late 2025 for more flexible hardware utilization.
- Selected, assembled, and deployed Xeon-based x86 systems, including an Intel Xeon D-1581 node in 2026.
- Configured iKuai for multi-WAN connectivity, connection-based load balancing, and traffic distribution.
- Operated an x86 node with two independent 1 Gbps upstream broadband connections.
- Installed platform-provided system images and handled troubleshooting across hardware, node OS, LAN / WAN connectivity, and platform availability.
